About Me:

My name is Tammy Merz and I teach 1st grade at Jasper Elementary School. In 2013 I received a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, from Covenant College, on Lookout Mountain. I taught kindergarten for 5 years and now teach 1st grade. I have lived in Marion County since I was 7 years old and graduated from Marion County High School in 1981. My husband is Pete. I have a son Pierson who is a Sergeant in the Marine Corps. I have two grandkids, Eli and Aevah. I love to hike, camp, fish, kayak, and spend time with my grandkids.
