Welcome to Jasper Elementary.
Jasper Elementary exists to provide academic, emotional, and social growth for every student inside and outside of the classroom. We exist to achieve the highest level of learning for all students through the tenacious pursuit of excellence. We understand the importance of building relationships with students and our families and that needs must be met for learning to take place.
We are a Title 1 PK-4 school with a population around 640 students. Our school is filled with faculty and staff who will love and care for your student as their own. We have school nurse and school resource deputy on campus daily. We pride ourselves on our safety protocols.
All students receive daily instruction on their grade level Tennessee state standards as well as remediation and enrichment in needed areas. Each student attends related arts classes daily, including physical education, art, music, library, guidance, and computer lab. Starting in 2025-2026, all students will receive recess for 40 total minutes daily. All students are assigned a Chromebook and each classroom is equipped with up to date technology for instruction and learning.
Our exceptional education department includes 3 exceptional education teachers, multiple paraprofessionals, speech/language therapists, vision therapists, occupational and physical therapists, and a school psychologist. We also offer services English language learners.
Through our partnerships with Centerstone and Volunteer Behavioral Health we are able to offer school-based therapy services to the students who may need those.
