Hello! My name is Jamie Layne! I am so excited that this is my first-year teaching at Jasper Elementary School in 4th grade! I am a proud graduate of Whitwell High school, and have lived in Marion county my whole life. I graduated with my bachelors in Elementary Education from Tennessee Tech University after completing my student teaching with JES in 3rdgrade. I have an amazing little cat named Sox, and I enjoy reading and going to the movies in my spare time. I am a big believer in having a growth mindset and hope to pass this on to my students as well!
