About Me:

Hello, my name is Carla Sisco but to many I am G-maw (young and old … related and non-related). I am a mother of 6 and bonus mother of 2. I have 9 beautiful grandchildren. I am married to an awesome husband whom supports all of my dreams. His name is Raymond Sisco. I have always worked in my home as a daycare provider for 35 years and a  foster parent for 10 years. This is my first year working in the school system and I am so excited to start. I will be in the cafeteria as a monitor and then to my classroom to keep the aftercare pre-K. Preparing my room for these children has been such a fun and wonderful couple weeks. I have an amazingly large and fabulous family but my children grew up and my grandchildren except one are all in school. I retired from home daycare and foster care and found myself suffering from empty nest syndrome. I’m just a G-maw not ready to stop caring for children. I am looking so forward to meeting and working with all the children at JES and giving them memorable moments they can carry home with them. Every child needs a G-maw to have fun with at school. I’m happy to be that person.
